Saint John School welcomes all students regardless of social, economic, racial or ethnic background.  Admission is based on available space and a review of academic records from the school from which the student is transferring.

• The Application Process

Inquiries are always welcomed. An Open House for applicants to Pre-School through Grade 6 takes place in October.  Applications are available at the Open House. An application fee of $50.00 is required for those who wish to be considered. All families of applicants are notified by mail in November whether they are accepted or placed on a wait list.  The parents who wish to enroll their accepted child send a non-refundable registration fee of $500.00.

An Open House for additional applicants to Pre-School through Grade 6 takes place during Catholic Schools Week in January.  An application fee of $50 is required for those who wish to be considered.  All families of these applicants are notified by mail in March whether they are accepted or placed on a wait list. The parents who wish to enroll their accepted child send a non-refundable registration fee of $500.00 to hold a place for their child.  This payment must be received on or before March 31.

• Who Can Attend Saint John?

Children in the Preschool program must be three years old by September 1st of the year they begin school. Pre-kindergarten students must be four years old by September 1st of the year they begin school. The school strives to accommodate students with various learning styles. Siblings of former students followed by children of alumni are given the next preference in the admissions process.  As a Catholic parish school, secondary consideration is given to the children of parishioners who contribute annually to St. John the Evangelist Parish.  Following these applications, all Catholic applicants from other parishes are considered.
